Head of Jakarta Industry and Energy, Tuti Kurnia supports movement of National Handicraft Board (Dekranasda) Jakarta Chapter to develop Marunda flat in Cilincing as batik village at Jakarta coast area.

"We need special production room in Marunda. So we don't need to create it on ground floor anymore like our artisans do now," Monday (8/24).
According to her, there are three empty rooms which could be used to support creativity of artisans better.
Relocated Residents Could Get Additional Flat Unit"We thank to Head of Deskrananda, Mrs. Veronika for helping our artisan, especially in color and design. We hope this batik village could be developed as in Madura," told Kurnia.
She claimed to propose the result of small and middle industry to be signed as intellectual property rights in Ministry of Justice and Human Rights.
